JW Creative Workshop is run by Janice Wong, the celebrated fashion veteran with remarkable career spanning media, styling and business. To offer custom publishing, event and content marketing, creative production, and image design services.

Janice studied Chinese Literature and English Literature at Taiwan Tamkang University. She also possesses certificates in English journalism from UC Berkeley and Political Philosophy & Rhetoric from Harvard University.

Janice is known as “Hong Kong’s First Real Fashion Authority” by CNN. She also won “The Great Contribution To Fashion” Award from CN Cityzine Magazine, “Person Of The Year For Fashion” of Shenzhen | Hong Kong Culture & Lifestyle Awards from CN Southern Metropolis Daily Newspaper.  She’s also a nominee and voting member of the British Fashion Awards and was the former advisor of Social Media Week HK.

Janice, who was the editor of ELLE and the executive editor of Cosmopolitan early in her career, later joined Ming Pao Weekly to launch the fashion, beauty, and social content of the magazine. She also started the weekly beauty magazine MWB (Ming Pao Weekly Beaute). By establishing Chinese media presence in the international fashion scene, she brought original international fashion content and introduced many great international designers and talents to Chinese audiences through Ming Pao Weekly and her successful bi-annual European Fashion Week magazine supplement. This supplement regularly sold over 60 pages of advertising per 128-page issue.

Janice’s expertise in the fashion industry led her to join Bauhaus Group as the CEO to curate and manage the high-fashion concept store LIBRE . In the first three months after opening, the store’s monthly sales revenue reached HKD million, and its publicity value was HKD 8 million.

Janice then moved to Seibu China as the Head of Corporate Communication and rejoined Ming Pao magazine group as the Group Fashion & Beauty Director to relaunch Ming China magazine and oversee the fashion and beauty contents of Hong Kong’s publication.

Janice regularly collaborates with top fashion and beauty brands, celebrities, supermodels and photographers across the region, as well as serves as the HK fashion representative of different adv campaigns, like Louis Vuitton , Van Cleef & Arpels, Michael Kors, Escada, Shiseido and amongst others, judging member of various fashion awards, hosts the talks and seminars at top universities to share her experiences and vision in Greater China.

Her books “ My Fashion Odyssey Of 25 Years ” and “ My Memoir With Fashion Maestros” are the talk of the town under the support of many great names and top brands like Louis Vuitton Art Foundation, Lane Crawford, Swarovski, Hong Kong Trade Development Council and Bonnae Gokson at Sevva. ” My Fashion Odyssey of 25 Years ” was chosen by LV as their arts & cultural initiative and selected by HKTDC as the highlight of HK Fashion Week 2014.
